Restaurant Nives with South Tyrolean and Italian cuisine

At our restaurant in Selva Val Gardena we place great emphasis on using regional products that show quality, authenticity and sustainability.

Our chef, Alessio Baldini, skilfully combines typical South Tyrolean cuisine with Mediterranean delights and prioritises high-quality organic produce from the region. From regional dishes such as cheese dumplings to home-made potato gnocchi or porcini mushroom tagliatelle, to delicious meat specialities such as venison carpaccio or rack of lamb, you will find a variety of dishes on our menu that will delight your palate. Furthermore, our sommelier and hotel manager, Alex Linder, will be pleased to advise you on the perfect wine to complement your meal.

Delicious fondue evenings in winter

Our cheese fondue and meat fondue are classics of Alpine cuisine and guarantee convivial and enjoyable evenings. We prepare our cheese fondue from a special blend of high quality alpine cheese from Hansi Baumgartner - Degust. The selected cheeses give the dish its unmistakable flavour - served with croutons, apples, pears and new potatoes.
We prepare the cheese and meat fondue only during winter months and only upon advance request.
